My bad...it was incredibly early this morning when I posted that.
Allow me to clarify: Although it may have been unintentional, I believe that she was
insinuating that I was lying. It went like this:
boss: "You didn't process the cancellations properly."
syc: "Well, (insert idiot employee name here) went over one with me, and she said I did it correctly.
boss: "Well, (insert idiot employee name here) must not have gone over it with you."
*indignation at boss* Ummm...hello! What the fuck did I just say? Idiot savant employee went over one with me when I did it. Now, she's telling me that said person didn't go over it with me? My boss was nowhere around, so how the hell would she know?
Because I cannot tell whether she was just making a comment or implying something, it would be unwise for me to make an accusation of lying. It really only factored in my own personal decision to split.
I told my agency that we kept running out of work (true), that I could not see myself staying at this place long term (not at the money I make now), and that my boss did not seem to like temps (with various pieces of evidence I could use to support my suspicion)...all under the umbrella of "this is not a good fit."
It's a shame, b/c the work I do is relatively easy for the pay, and I do like working in Center City. To reference my "Slothfulness" thread though, I need to quickly "find my way" back to something stable, permanent, and meaningful.
