Gosh, this has got to be the most trivial cellar argument, yet! Yeah, the official title is "Shoud've been a cowboy," but if you listen to Toby sing the lyrics he ennunciates quite clearly "Oh, I should OF been a cowboy." The way the music is written, you can't slur "should've" and make it come out right. You have to sing "should OF." I've only listened to the damn song about 14 million times. The song starts out:
