They are trying to remove arafat, they refuse to negioate, they refuse to create a state or even set a timeline for the creation of one. The economist had a very good roundup of this. I doubt this 'interum state' will be as generous as the oslo accords, and oh, wern't they generous, breaking up the west bank ito 3 cantons surrounded by Isrelai military checkpoints to move between them.
