Staking out this thread has led me to this reward: I get to follow you.

You extended your hand in friendship to me early in my time here in the cellar, and that means a lot to a n00b. Thank you. Common courtesy, you claim. Perhaps. But your witty posts almost always bring a smile to my face. Your arid, spare style is not common. Brevity, they say, is the soul of wit, which makes you one of the most soulful people I know.
I, on the other hand, clearly sold mine for more ink and paper. :p
