Exactly. Pain medication should not make you feel like the down side of something so nasty that you would have never taken it anyway.
Three cheers for Versed, I've had it twice now and it is just about perfect. You don't get spaced out and afterwards it just wears off and you don't even realize it because you are perfectly normal. The only side effect I had was looking up and realizing I could read the charts all the way across the operating room without my glasses! That could mean my eyes were crossed
