At the request of Bruce, here's the Copper Canyon thread. Bit of info behind the pics: group of 18 young people from my school went on an Expedition to Mexico last July, the main phase being a 6 day trek in the copper canyon. It was hard work, trekking about 10 hours a day in 40*C heats and roasting sun, and heavy storms at night, but it was well worth it for some of the views, like this one from the first morning. We arrived late the night before, so had no idea where we were. We spent the night in cabins, and when i opened the curtains in the morning, this was the view i was treated to:
