I do find myself wondering if the request for new nipples was made by Koko herself, or was it merely voiced by the human employee?

If so, this leads us to new worlds of litigation ... same sex sexual harrassment on one side, cross-species same sex sexual harrassment on the other. Is that the sound of an empire falling that I hear in the distance?

Knowing how these kinds of things work, I also suspect it was more likely that staff lunches were stored alongside gorilla urine rather than the converse, as stated in the article. The pee fridge was probably closer than the staff lunchroom fridge. (no, I have never put my lunch in the pee fridge. My department has it's own cube fridge).
