It must be a combination of high water content and the fact that he eats way bigger meals on canned. If I just leave out dry food, he eats a few mouthfuls every few hours, but with canned, he can't let it sit there, so he gulps it all down. I don't have time to feed him more frequently than twice a day...It's okay, the dry food helps scrape tartar off of his teeth, and his breath doesn't stink so bad...Now, I have him on that "Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul" dry dog food. What a stupid name, but the ingredient list looks healthier than any prepackaged human food I've ever seen... I'm known for my extensive knowledge on dog food and nutrition, I wrote an article for a breeder...If anyone wants to know all about doggie food, let me know, I'll send you a copy of my article...
