Uhhh... you been to S Texas lately? Sorry, D, but I have to call you on that one. McAllen isn't a very bad town to live in, but it sure as hell is dirty, and extremely poor. Harlingen is about the same. Nothing really gets too good until you get to Corpus Christi, which still have it's fair share of poverty despite some of the richest oil money in the state. Funny thing is that the Nueces River should have been the Tex-Mex border (which is just up IH-37 from Corpus). We backed that up with the last treaty.
You do have a good point with the NA.
