It was my first trip there. I guess winning enough money and drinking enough alcohol blinds you to the actual city.

One of the stranger scenes: We were at the foot of Atlantic Ave., near the end of the new tunnel and Brigantine. There is this UGLY UGLY UGLY ass apartment complex just down the boardwalk from there. It's like this turquoise green high rise that was probably cool looking in 1972. It's like 10 or 11 stories high...right ON the Boardwalk. Hideous.
