An old roomate of mine (a graphic artist) is also a shutterbug. he's taken a bunch of really odd pictures of our life together that I really love (like the first time I shaved my head, and ended up w/ a mohawk for a couple of days). He has several different 'odd' cameras. The most interesting of which, imho, is the
Lomo. It is a Russian camera that takes some really amazing pics w/o any filters. It is a low-light camera (I believe extra small versions were used by Russian spies) that has to be held
extremely still to get clear pictures. When you don't, the effects are interesting, at a minimum.
