Actually, I find it less awful because he's so old--it makes her motives obvious. If he were 50, she'd have to be willing to go through a lot more to wait until he died. This way, I don't have to struggle with the idea that maybe she's genuinely attracted to him.

Also, that's an ugly-ass hat she's put on her kid, and what the hell is she holding in the third picture?
