Someone called McKay Smith posted a series of tweets reminding us to honor the Navajo code talkers who were so vital to the
US Marines during The Big One, WW II, before they are all gone.
Starting with the original 29 they had to develop new words for their language as I doubt the Navajo had words for LSTs or for
aircraft carriers. Then the expanded language had to be taught to the new men coming in. They weren't just sitting around in the
rear with the big brass relaying orders, they were up front getting shot at... Sniper candy.
These men were such a great asset to our country we must put them up on a pedestal as an example to future generations.
Strip away everything about them that detracts from or clouds their US Marine Corps heroism, obliterate their history and culture
of anything not Red White and Blue! USA! USA!
Or maybe we tried that already, I forget.
