I have not tested this, use at your own risk:
"Win Media Player 9 fails to load the libraries necessary to activate many streaming audio and video windows. The libraries are referred to as DLL files and they reside in your windows/system directory.
The solution is to:
1. Download Win Media Player 7.1 from the MS
site;
2. Disconnect from your internet connection;
3. Close all other programs;
4. Activate the 7.1 setup program;
5. Select "reinstall all components";
6. The program will advise that setup has failed
(its looking for files over the internet),
then force you to reboot;
7. When you reboot, 7.1 setup will begin
updating your windows settings. Actually,
it will be loading and registering the
libraries you need to open streaming windows;
8. WinMedPlyr 9 will remain intact; open and use
it as normal."
Hope it works for ya!
