Given that I've mentioned several times that the microwave is
50 years old, and this is 2019, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it was built in . . . let's see . . . carry the one . . . 1968 or 1969. I have no idea what year the thing was
designed. A reasonable guess would be 1967 or 1968.
