AirDisaster.com sounds like one of those creepy websites where you do nothing but spend hours late at night listening to erie cockpit voice recordings of crashes and end up fearing getting on a plane for the rest of your life.
And it is! But there is a much better aspect to the site that I've really enjoyed -- the forums. In particular, the
Airline Pilot Q & A forum allows you to ask questions to an MD-80 pilot regarding the technical aspects of the fundamentals of flight all the way down to
why flight attendants hang packets of coffee near the toilet.
They'll even answer questions
about French pilots. Okay, so that one wasn't so serious...
