Even little ole' me, I went to Wal-Mart and $375.00 and a DSL connection later I was set up. A whole new world opened up, I can chat with people all over the world, and spread my radical right wing politics around. In the last 5 years I have seen an explosion in internet use. People you would never think even knew what a computer was are on line.

I wish it WERE thoughts that were being spread. That would be a true worldwide democratic revolution. Unfortunately, what is happening instead is only EGOS are being loaded. The internet is caving in because nothing is ever purged, and - if you do not know the specific url - a search engine will never be able to put you in contact with 99.9% of what is "out there", even though it is taking up most of the space. The fact that any moron, or 10 billion of them, can post a webpage about their thoughts is NOT an improvement :neutral:
