11/6/2005: "Glowing water" in satellite image

Via Fark comes this NPR item which covers a really wild "earth at night" type image. In this shot, which is pretty cool to start, you notice a bluish piece of snot at the lower right, off the coast of Africa. That goober is not a mistake by the photographer. It's glowing water. "...about the size of Connecticut, and researchers think billions of glowing bacteria are the source." Whoa! |
Nah.. some poor country dumping radioactive waste inte the sea.
And what have they poured into the nile... :worried: |
Poor countries can't afford radioactive waste. :D
I'm guessing it's Academy Award Night in Atlantis. |
My guess is.....
Aliens. ET type aliens. :gray: |
Slang - you beat me to it. I was going to say the same thing!
|
Nah. I think it's the Predator kind of aliens. The shiny, glowy thing is bait.
|
It doesn't look like a goober to me. It looks like a completely different kind of stain.
|
I think Abyss aliens are the most likely culprits.
