*rofl*

At least he has songwriting material for a new record...

I am now going to have to waste company time & money emailing that link to everyone I know.

I should feel deep sympathy for his painful situation. And I will. As soon as I stop laughing.

Press releases are written by press agents. This one seems to have been written by the editorial staff at The Onion. I guess it's doing what it was intented to do -- generate comment, buzz. If I were him in the situation described, I would say nothing. Why post this at all?

"Please allow this situation to remain private."

Riiiiiiight.

Imagine his chagrin at finding out he was in a polyamorous relationship, and no one told him.

BigV 10-06-2005 12:19 PM

His relationship was monogamous, judging from his "reaction", but the girlfriend sure seems poly.

Why is it that guys are always surprised that the trashy seeming girls they always go for actually turn out to be trashy?

Beestie 10-08-2005 01:21 AM

Sounds to me like his next CD just wrote itself.

Dorothy Parker (credit where due)

And this may be the real reason people come back to the Cellar. The small chance to be Dorothy Parker or Robert Benchley and place the perfect barb, the classic riposte and engage in fairly witty reparte.
