I used to have one.

Before we were married, my future mother-in-law called me a "two-bit floozy" and told me she never wanted to speak to me again. Later she apologized to my future husband (though never to me) and the storm mostly blew over, though relations obviously remained strained. A few months later, my husband told her we were engaged, and I shit you not, it was a complete 180 right that afternoon--all of a sudden she was acting like we'd been best friends forever.

Nowadays we do alright. There are still occasional personality clashes, but there has been no fighting or name-calling since.

How the fuck do people think they can act like that and not have it come back and bite them in the ass?

People can be truly a-fucking-mazingly stupid sometimes.

I just got rid of my monster in law...she was very comparable to that mother in law - bitch on wheels. She thought her son did no wrong.

Although, I did get her drunk one night and made her smoke a cigarette and made her let me "show her how to put lipstick on for real"...she has no upper lip and I made her look quite funny!

Yeah--I thought it would be really stupid, but it was actually very funny! Gotta love Wanda, she was hilarious as usual, and they gave her a good amount of screen time. I saw her live stand up act a couple of years ago, and she had us all crying we were laughing so hard.
