Whore College

From here .

San Francisco Woman Offers Red Light Education
SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash) – The world’s oldest profession is now being taught in the world’s newest school.
On May 4, the Epicenter Gallery in San Francisco will become the site of the world’s first “Whore College,” to teach wannabe working girls and guys the ins and outs of prostitution.

The kinky college is the brainchild of prostitute and sex activist Carol Leigh and will offer classes in titillating topics like “Beauty Standards and Sex Work,” “Do-It- Yourself Web Cam” and “Safer Oral Sex Techniques.”

.....

Students can qualify for scholarships and will have a chance to earn a degree but don’t need to worry about passing tests because Leigh admits she’s “too liberal” to make the pupils pass a final.
......
Somehow, I don't think they will sell many "My son/daughter is an honor student" stickers.

The "oral exam" joke is a little too obvious, don't even try it.

what about take your daughter to work day? *shudders*

Strange we have all these hang up about sex. Why shouldn't it be taught? Ok it's more exciting as a teenager to learn with your first love or lust but really it is an important life skill. I'm not claiming the high ground there. Sort of like wiping one's a**. Your mom/mum used to do it for you until she suggested you do it for yourself but she never actually showed you how to do it.
There are rumours here in Indonesia that mothers on the island of Madura teach their duagthers how to please men. (Maybe the fathers do the same with son's but haven't heard.) How many have been to Tantric classes?
Of course the classes maybe more about the mind games than the actual techniques. What we need is a mole on the inside.

I agree entirely but this isn't sex school, this is whore school, there is a difference.

jaguar 05-17-2005 05:31 AM

Now I consider this at greater length than it really deserves - if everyone went to sex school everyone would know the same stuff, this leads to a conundrum, while it'd be wonderful for such important gems as teeth are bad to be instilled from a young age it'd take half the excitement out of it if everyone had the same knowledge base.

LCanal 05-17-2005 05:41 AM

OK point taken.

All the same ? nah. I prefer to every now and then to think WOW now that was good.

But I still think as a species we have too many hang ups about the S word.

jaguar 05-17-2005 05:42 AM

ya I agree on both.

Disagree. A lot of people know a lot of things but only a minute handful can apply it. Nothing to fear about instilling basic techniques - especially as every person I've slept with likes different things (not that different, it's a fine line) - and it's what you do on the day that counts, and not many people have that ability: to know what to do at the time.

jaguar 05-17-2005 07:03 AM

You're right, if I hear one more 'he seems to think my clit is X' or variations thereof from female friends I might scream but would it help that? Where do you draw the line on basic techniques, Fellatio 101 or Things Not To Try When Having Sex In a Phonebooth (20 credits)? I assume we're talking about theoretical lessons here rather than pratical ones. Pratical ones might but that would raise all sorts of.....interesting issues.

Catwoman 05-17-2005 07:49 AM

Ok - basic lessons might include:

(for men)
- where it goes
- where it definitely doesn't go
- appreciation of female time-scales (21 minutes longer than you think)
- you are not kneading dough
- the power of anticipation

(and for women)
- not all men like their nipples tweaked
- you are not sanding a cue
- stop being ashamed and let him see your arse in the air

Beyond this, it's a matter of personal chemistry.

But I don't see the harm in practical lessons. It's all in the teaching...

This would go right along with the course somebody in NYC was offering in adult film production. The syllabus included a live in-class taping of a scene with two ladies. Regrettably, I don't have the link anywhere. (It must have been on fark or collegehumor or some place like that.)

jaguar 05-17-2005 08:32 AM

ok that list had me laughing pretty hard.

Right. A sex school would be more in the liberal arts tradition, this is a professional college instead, like a cosmetology school or mechanic's school.

So I guess this woman would probably have flunked.
Quote:

BOSTON - A woman isn't legally responsible for injuries her boyfriend suffered while they were having consensual sex more than a decade ago, a state appeals court ruled Monday.

The man, identified only as John Doe in court papers, filed suit against the woman in 1997, claiming she was negligent when she suddenly changed positions, landed awkwardly on him and fractured his penis.

The man underwent emergency surgery in September 1994, "endured a painful and lengthy recovery" and has suffered from sexual dysfunction that hasn't responded to medication or counseling, the appeals court said.
