Art imitates death
Went about the shire today taking pictures of art and dead things.
Let's start with the best. It could just as well be in the WTF thread. One rarely sees a typo on a tombstone, but this cannot possibly be true. I mean it's bad enough to go through life with a moniker like <b>Bohmfalk</b>, but I guess the payoff is surviving to the ripe old age of 141??? <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/Bohmfalk.jpg"> Awesome tree. I reminds of the hippie days when we would melt a bunch of candles in a Matuese Rose wine bottle: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/AwesomeTree.jpg"> The tree holds many secrets. Look at how the roots have grown over the bricks: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/CandleTree.jpg"> The 'tumors' are reminiscent of a Roman fountain: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/RomanFountain.jpg"> These trees are common in this region. I'm surprised they're not erecting a shrine to the Virgin Mary here: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/TreeSculpture.jpg"> On to the art. This blue thing caught my eye and stomped on it: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/Blue.jpg"> We came upon this vortex thing: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/Vortex.jpg"> The Artist: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/Whoa.jpg"> You're gonna need something bigger than that dude: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/TheArtist.jpg"> The ass end of this thing: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/AssEnd.jpg"> Your guess is as good as mine: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/YourGuess.jpg"> Mardi Gras-goyle: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/MardiGrasgoyle.jpg"> Let's end this with a Texas icon: a roadkill 'dillo: <img src="http://www.myrefrigerator.com/ArtDeath/Dillo.jpg"> |
Great pictures! Looks like the new camera is doing well. I love the armadillo (RIP).

The idea that a creature as cool as an armadillo is NBN's part of the country's possom is kind of sad to me.

Excellent, as usual, both in picture quality and subject matter.
I see Shakespeare in the tree. Damnitall...now I want Matuese Rose. |
If you look closely at the blue metal sculpture, you can see Han Solo frozen in there.
