"I am a part of all that I have met;
Yet all experience is an arch wherethro'
Gleams that untravell'd world, whose margin fades
Forever and forever as I move."
Tennyson, Ulysses

Good job.

Damn but you have a lot of fun.

And a good eye.

xoxoxoBruce 04-25-2005 08:45 PM

And a good camera.
It's a tool worthy of your talent......and that's a tough asignment. :thumb:

Thanks Bruce. It is a great camera.

I wish more of you guys would post photos from your hometown, even if you don't think they meet the definition of a 'Quality Image'. I love seeing off-the beaten-track pictures.

wolf 04-26-2005 01:09 AM

I am too lazy to walk around with the camera much, but I'll see what I can do.

Bullitt 05-02-2005 12:11 AM

As soon as I buy my digi cam at the end of this month I'll get ya'll some real pictures of my beautiful campus, but until then I'll just have to make due with pics i take with other cameras. Consequently, very few of these show life outside..

Two of my buddies outside imitating that Bob Marley poster:

One of my favorite bands Bel Auburn playing at a local bar uptown:

Daniel Erb working his acoustical magic same night:

Followed by another fav. band [embassy] :

More dorm craziness:

And even more of it:

And since this thread is called "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles", here's one of me and my car.. don't ask haha:

Again, sorry for no scenic pictures, this area is quite beautiful so I'll be taking more than enough of those when I get my camera.

xoxoxoBruce 05-02-2005 07:30 PM

Thanks Bullit, I've always wondered what Abe Lincoln would look like in a grass skirt and boobs.

I'd like to see more of everyone's hometown pics too. I've been trying to decide where I'm going to go around town to take some pictures myself.
The only thing that ever really put Ponca City, Oklahoma on the map was when Playboy magazine chose Candy Loving (from Ponca City) as their 25th anniversary playmate - and that's been awhile - 1979, 1980, or 1981...??
(I don't think she's still in town, but if she is, I promise to try to get a picture to post!)

Nothing But Net 05-06-2005 03:38 AM

Anything is possible

Bullshit, BH. Go get us a better picture of this:

or this:

or the Marland Mansion:

Don't tell me there's nothing pretty in Ponca City!

York 05-06-2005 11:10 AM

Just a Belgian at sea....about 180kilometers from my hometown...

Nothing But Net 05-07-2005 02:01 AM

I have to tell you York, the more I look at it, that picture is awesome.

Only thing, who cares how far you are from home. How big is your aperature?

wolf 05-07-2005 02:19 AM

There are very many things about Europeans that I guess I will just never understand.

That is very strange beach attire.

xoxoxoBruce 05-07-2005 02:07 PM

I understand it. If I'd been down at the New jersey beach last week I'd want a jacket. At York's latitude, which is about the same as the St.Lawrence River, I'd want a parka....or a couple shots. :D
