Swimsuit recommendations, please

Anybody know of a place in the Philadelphia area that might sell one-piece women's swimsuits (preferably that don't cost a mint)? Mrs. Dallas has been looking for one, but all she can find are the "tankini" models, which she doesn't like. (Yeah, I know it's out of season......)

She might want to try a sporting goods store, like Modell's or Sports Authority.

And the swimsuits should be coming into stores like Penney's any time now...Spring Break is only 6 weeks away.

I think she did all that, but I'll suggest it again.

(I'm hoping to stem the complaints on the subject... ;) )

What about the Sears or Penney's catalogs?

I would recommend either LLBean or Land's end Catalogs... one of them (can't remember which) has good one piece swimsuits and I think a decent return policy should it not fit.

You could check forman mills. Being a discounter, they might carry leftovers year round.

J.Crew has fantastic swimsuits, only online right now though, and they run about 2 sizes smaller than dress size. Gap Body has some nice ones right now too, although I can't remeber if they have any one-piece.

The hands-down best store for women's swim attire is Speedo.

Hi, This is my wife Cassandra and her friend Amanda enjoying their Wicked Weasels in Las Vegas last summer. Cassandra's wearing a 456 Hot Pink Top: S Bottom: S and Amanda's wearing a 449 Rainbow Top: XS Bottom: S.
I don't know the guy and I hate him already.

Hi my name is Mignon, and these photos are from the 2004 summer. Some of the pictures are from Torremolinos, Spain; and others are from places in Holland. My first thong bikini and I love it. The style, and fit are exactly what I want in a bikini. Wearing this Wicked Weasel bikini made me feel so feminine and sexy. The bikini and clothing has helped me break out of my shell, gain a lot of self-confidence, and helped with the way I perceive my body image. The attention received on the beach is great. I love this line of summer wear, and I cannot wait till next summer and my next Wicked Weasel bikini. Thank you, Mignon
Since she is topless in a few of the photos, I guess the "break out of my shell, gain a lot of self-confidence" part was a great success. BTW, if they show a picture of a topless woman, and a "buy this item" link, how do you know you are buying both pieces of the bikini. ;) What if only the bottom comes in the mail, and when you call them they say "Sod off mate, you could see she was only wearing one piece in the picture". This could lead to a whole slew of companies defrauding the public by showing topless women in bikini bottoms and making extra profit by only sending the bottoms. :p

xoxoxoBruce 01-16-2005 04:59 PM

On the up side, it could lead to more topless women. ;)

Why did I know this was going to happen if I posted this question?
