Most Stolen Vehicles vs. Honest Newsmen

6 Action News has often been cited as an example of news perverted by irresponsible journalists. People more interested in hype than the facts. Something happened. They report accurately?
Quote:

Which car topped the list of the most frequently stolen car in the US?
CCC changed the way it calculated its list for 2003, combining stolen-vehicle data with vehicle registrations from R.L. Polk & Co. to determine the rate of theft as a percentage of registered models.
They now report percentage rather than number of stolen cars. As a result
Quote:

the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, two of the best-selling vehicles in North America, fell from the top of the list to points in the middle of the top 25.
What does that paragraph say? Previous reports by Action News putting the Toyota and Honda at the top of the most likely stolen car list was always a lie. A confession without admitting same.

Tee-Dub, I've often wondered this, but haven't asked yet...

What do you do for a living?

Remind me ... in the current economy, does "consultant" still mean "unemployed?"
