Is anyone here starting a new gig playing music for the band that plays for the Dr. Phill Show???

Might anyone here be throwing sweaty fistfulls of money to the unwashed masses?

Might this person's initials be SM by any chance?

i have heard that. that is really amazing that this gig came up too. after only a couple of appearances on American Idol the cellar's very own SM has a fat new gig lined up.

Is that the same guy who just got a call from the Goo Goo Dolls manager to see if he was available for a few gigs in late September?

I think it is.

This year is on track to absolutely kick ass.

Okay, man...if you get the Goo Goo Dolls tour, you *must* publish the schedule. Then, if you are coming to one of our hometowns, we can suck up to you massively for free passes and stuff.

I mean...so we can come and see you play. Yeah, that's it!

sm - a.k.a. Doctor Stupendous, (that must be your new stage name) sounds like all of your hard work over the years is starting to produce some really cool results.

I wonder how this new Dr Phil show, will differ from the one that's on here everyday at 5? Oh, I know,...this one doesn't have sm,...no wonder it sucks. :D

So it looks like the show will air sometime the week of September 13th, probably on friday the 17th. I'm the guy in the tan/white/blue vertical striped shirt and pimp-daddy 70s sun glasses sitting behind the fender rhodes with the mac powebook on my right. The day was by far the longest day of shooting in my life, and i've done a few of these. We got to the studio at 6AM to do the soundcheck, did like 20 runthroughs for the cameras to rehearse, then sat in the green room. and sat. and sat. They do a weeks worth of shows at a time, so we sat through like 4 other tapings before we got up there to do our thing.

We rocked. Absolutely killed it. The whole time, I was watching the crowd and thinking, "This is Meredith's new audience. She doesn't have to pretend she's 19 anymore - she's now selling to the walmart and starbucks crowd." And you know what? that's pretty cool. I like those fans better. They come to shows, spend dough, buy CDs, and if the like you, they never stop liking you.
