what a wonderfull start to a long weekend

ok, last night at my local watering hole and my truck gets broken into. screwdriver, under the door latch. they only took my radar detector, not my tools, but a 10 year old +- radar detector. then i go home, argue with my ex-wife and wake up to 6 cops IN MY BEDROOM!!!!!!!! the wench let them in the house!! she thought i had a girl over! WTfreakin'F!!!! hope y'alls weekend is going better.

edit:no, she doesn't live with me and i didn't know she still had a key. she told the cops on 911 that i was going to commit suicide just so she could find out if i had my girlfriend over. is that some low down shit or what?!?

Man, that sucks. I'm sorry for you. You could easily press charges for harassment and making a false police call. Also, probably wanna change those locks now. ;)

well, unbeknownst to her, i'm going to get that key back the next time i see her. that/this was soooo humiliating. imagine waking up to 6 cops around your bed and one of them is eyeing your gun collection, of which i might add that a pistol is missing. wouldn't be so bad but it's not mine.

tough to tell. the fact that it's on a curve like that make it more time consuming, and I can;t tell what damage is done under that handle. Nifty job of breaking in. probably would have been cheaper for you if they had broken the window. louder too, though, and messier. to sum up.....fucked if i know. that sucks, bub.

they send 6 cops to your place if they think you;re suicidal? 6?
did she tell them you were planning to use a war head to off yourself?
c'mon. what did she really tell them?

ok. your gun is missing. how long has it been missing? was it in the truck? the next time you see her? she has your kid?
you pick NOW to quit smoking?

gah!

Nothing But Net 05-29-2004 09:08 PM

I guess this means you'll be bumming a lot more smokes from me.

Man, I didn't know about the truck. That's fucked up. You're a nice guy and everything, but I wouldn't let that shit slide.

Press charges across the board.

Harrassment, false charges (if she actually filed any), missing property, the whole nine yards.

You could also sue her for mental cruelty.

I quit a 30-year nicotine habit two years ago after several aborted attempts.

For inspiration, I would think that handsome young man in your other pic is probably all you need.

For support, we will be here. I will tell you this much before you start. Load up on bottled water (nicotine is water soluble and the water will help wash it out) and flu medication (helps with the symptoms for the first 72 hours).

Which one, how, and why?

Which: I used Day Quill but I think they are all pretty similar (Thera Flu, Tylenol Cold and FLu, etc.). How: I have no idea. Why: I read somewhere that it helped.

I was having a pretty severe physical reaction (searing headaches, arrythmia among other delightful things) but the medication is supposed to blunt the withdrawal symptoms in general and I needed all the help I could get. The first five days were nearly unbearable. Making it worse, I decided not to tell anyone till I was two weeks out so I everyone around me just thought I turned into a monster.

But, thank God, I made it - that was 2 years ago and I have never felt better. I had no idea what a crutch tobacco had become till I stood up on my own for the first time since I was 13. Hopefully, I'll live long enough to see my kids graduate and get married and maybe even see a grandkid or two. I could pretty much kiss all that goodbye had I not stopped.
