3/3/2004: Kick your ass cop cars

http://cellar.org/2004/cardecals.jpg

Dateline Bakersfield California, and thanks to Wolf for suggesting this one. She notes that not only is this verified true, covered in this story, but they now have a cafepress shop for it.

The decals are not on the cars now, and it's not clear how serious they were from the story, but hey.

:)

well we knew they were rough..
but now they advertise their beatings
CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG:D

xoxoxoBruce 03-03-2004 05:26 PM

Doesn't everyone clamor for honest cops, all the time?

poohbearbeth 03-03-2004 07:12 PM

Too honest

Sometimes too much honesty can get your but kicked
I guess it pays to advertise

The version I was sent by a member of that department had an extra statement ... which may have been photo ... uh, digitally added in ...

I LOVE IT

The Kern County Sheriff

Is my most favoritest department now. :D

xoxoxoBruce 03-03-2004 07:31 PM

Those are the same wheels as the "seal" car.

Undertoad 03-03-2004 07:39 PM

Oh yeah, Wolf, the large size image which you had ATTACHED -- man I'm getting absent-minded in my old age.

Nothing But Net 03-03-2004 09:37 PM

Y'all have no idea

In Houston, they don't need any signs. The mere sight of a cop car implies "We'll kill your ass!".

'Nuff said.

Bakersfield

Anyone ever been to Bakersfield? Uh, not much out there. They must not have anything better to do ;)

Bakersfield

I live half-way between Fresno and Bakersfield - talk about not much to do....

The cowboy mentality is alive and kicking (your ass) here in the valley. We even have rodeos every year that have a tradition going back a hundred years.

clay_bo_day 06-01-2004 01:27 AM

I love my city :)

It's true they will kick your ass, the phrase shoot first ask questions later, is practically like breathing around here.

xoxoxoBruce 06-01-2004 05:03 PM

Welcome to the Cellar, Clay. I take it, you're on the "good side" of the ass kickers.;)
