once again I am blown away by how awesome a movie Amelie is. Just poetic and good.

No doubt, no doubt. Amelie in the hizouse.

There's the endearing story and characters, and add to that, the cinematography is flat-out beautiful. Its one of my favs.

If you havent seen Truly, Madly, Deeply I bet you'd like that one too.

Agreed. Amelie is truly creative and visually beautiful. And I just love imitating "Elefant mere!" (My spelling is probably horrendously screwed up there.)

Fave scene has to be walking the blind guy across the street. Ah, but there are lots of good ones.
