How sad am I

So - I am sitting at home today (since I can't access internet at work anymore) waiting for 10 AM to roll around so we can go get the new final fantasy game. Yes - I took a day off in order to play a video game.

Go read the Entertainment/Gaming Consoles thread. I took two days off of work to fly out to California and play a game. :) (And see my sister, of course.)

I know - but its 9:15 AM here now - I have to wait until 10 AM. I'm going a little nuts. As is the BF. I think I'll go make pancakes.

(Yes - I cook too)

Man, Andrea came to me the other night and was like "Wanna.... play TimeSplitters?"

I'll actually be kinda sad when she moves out, 'cause it means I'll only have Jenni, who isn't into playing shoot-em-up games with me (or really any video games, for that matter). You know, if my biggest complaint about the woman I love is that she's not a video game nut, I guess I'm doing okay.

I think it's important to have a hobby that doesn't interest your wife/husband/s.o...that way, you're almost guaranteed me time. And besides...people that have too many commonalities are retarded.

Yeah - today me and the BF are playing together. Normally we play separate video games. We almost have no common interests other than we like video games - normally not the same ones though.

Well that doesn't sound good either.

That's okay! It's just part of the setup for the inevitable - dani and I playing video games together for the rest of our days. :P

God bless Jenni for having the fortitude to put up with you. ;)

Haha. Actually - I think it is good that we aren't simular. Too alike gets boring. And plus they always want to hang around with you. yuk. I need my space.

For instance - I like going bar hopping & strip clubbing. He doesn't. So I get to go out, play pool, drink and stare at nekkid chicks and I don't have to do it with my boyfriend. Works for me.

You were still at home? In seventh grade, my friend ditched out of school to pick up his pre-ordered copy of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64 on launch day. He was in the mall the minute the doors opened, not realizing that just because the mall was open it didn't mean Babbage's was.

He and his brother spent about a half-hour to an hour alternating between rapping on the glass doors, holding up their preorder slips, pointing at their watches, and making "When?" gestures.
