My Spanish is fairly rusty, but I'll be willing to wager a guess that they pulled FARC from the order the words follow in Spanish.

(As a side note, this is how you make yourself vulnerable to being the Cellar punching bag: by showing your ignorance of many subjects while posting like an authority on others. When you don't treat others with respect, and they have an opportunity to make you look like an idiot, they generally will take it. And so it is, because your knowledge of Spanish is obviously extremely poor or non-existant, you ask a question and show yourself to be vulnerable. Perhaps if you weren't so condescending when someone disagrees with you, you might get a warmer reception. In other words, what goes around comes around.)

Well, that was more a translation of the English into Spanish by the trusty My Brain 1.0. (My Spanish is not as rusty as yours, apparently.)

I haven't used mine (Spanish, not Brain) in forever, and I'm about armpit deep in transaction standards right now, so I'm fluent in HIPAA, not Spanish. (And I'll let you guess which one I'm preferring at the moment!)

Anyway....I knew I was on the right track, even if I was a mile away from Home base :)

I took 2 years of Spanish in high school and 2 more years in college and have never had the opportunity to use it in a daily conversation to keep up with it. It never occurred to me and my simpleton mind that the acronym stood for something in Spanish.
