The more I read about the man the more I like him. He kept a daily diary from boyhood till his death
so we have a lot of evidence of how he felt and his thinking. His wiki has a great deal of it.
The stuff he dealt with sounds very familiar lately... too familiar.

The student of politics notes the eternal and considerable tension between "People Ruin Everything" and attempts at fixing that. I guess without both, it wouldn't be a cycle.
