I was watching a video of a guy making chicken pudding in his restaurant. Don't ask.
I took a screen grab of this spoon the customers use as I've never seen one like it. Looks like a mini-shovel. Anybody familiar with this shape?

Spoons have gotten bigger over the years. I guess the shovel spoon is just another step in that direction.

When eating soup, you're not supposed to put the whole spoon in your mouth. Ya use the spoonful of soup like you would if drinking from the bowl. Put the edge to your lips, and sip from the spoon.

The spoon in Bruce's post is obviously for 'Murkins.
