Jan 7th, 2019: Bee Bricks & Blocks

Bees are amazing creatures, I like them.
My #1 favorite is Boobies, followed by Honeybees, Bumblebees, most of the bees, although the Carpenters can be annoying.
♫ Close to you ♪... no, wait... Bees, yeah, Carpenter Bees.
When I put a roof on my house I set up scaffolding for a couple weeks and when I took it down the Carpenter bees had bored nests
in the planks so I couldn’t take them inside until I ferreted the all little buggers out.

No wasps, they’re assholes. Yellow jackets, hornets, all of them, the whole famn damily.

Now the Brits have come up with Bee Bricks and Bee Blocks, like bird houses for solitary bees.

If you’re looking for a great gift for garden lovers, design lovers and nature lovers then Bee Brick™ is the gift that keeps giving. Solitary bees are fascinating to watch and it’s a wonderful way to introduce kids to bees because solitary bees have no queen or honey to protect, meaning they are non-aggressive and won’t sting.

The Bee Brick™ is an innovative nesting site for solitary bees, created to be used as a standalone bee house in your garden, or in place of a standard brick in construction, creating more habitat for non-swarming solitary bees. The bee brick provides a stylish nesting site for red mason bees and leafcutter bees, amongst others, and makes a real design statement in any garden, allotment or building.

At £27.50 ($35.05) plus S&H they aren’t cheap, think Trump condo for your bee buddies.
But your neighbors bees will be green with envy, and you can rib your neighbor about his green bees.
I wouldn't do it while he's holding one of those big BBQ forks. :headshake

I thought this would be hexagonal bricks that mimic honeycomb.

Bees with bricks come. Bees with blocks come. Bees with bricks and blocks and clocks come.
