That's a strange amount of money. I would expect a rounder number. I mean, who says "Gimme $39,000, or Ima tell."?

She might have asked for a rounder number and he haggled, or he may have picked the number based on what was available in the account he was embezzling it from.

Maybe $30,000 for her and $9,000 for her lawyer... or vice versa. :eyebrow:
