I was wondering why that area of the country is burning. It's normally so green.

Here's the year to date rainfall map as a departure from normal.

Since the beginning of the year, that region has seen much less rain than normal.

So sad , such a beautiful part of the country , hope fully it will come back greener and more beautiful

Like I've said before, screw that F-35, build fire tankers.
