He's a youngster, about 2 feet long. Checked the map where they found him, it's most likely someone had him as a pet, got overwhelmed quickly, and then thought he would do well in the local creek so they let him go there. :headshake

I only recognize him because he has the same hair style. If he was bald, forget it.

As we get closer to the dirt nap we all kinda start looking the same...

so about the lack of visible teeth.. wtf? Am I just not seeing them? Is it possible that the owner removed them to make it a less dangerous pet?

He reminds me of Gummy.

Yeah, I would guess removal by a pet owner, same as declawing a cat.
