Clocks! Spring forward tonight in much of the USA
Don't say you weren't warned!
 |
|
On this side of the Atlantic, we have to wait another two weeks before we put the clocks forward which is a bit of a bind.
Although the weather won't necessarily change for the better, it's an important psychological moment as we say goodbye to winter. The older I become, the less I like winter and am always glad to see the back of it. |
Damn it to hell.

To the unbroken, undisciplined, and unbridled, who march to the tick of a different clock, Eh. http://cellar.org/2015/Yawn.gif

Sprung.

The cats were fed an hour early today, Chloe didn't know how to act.
|
My cats were ecstatic. And tried it on even harder with the nest few people to emerge
|
I found it best to not set the clock ahead until Sunday during the day, that way no sleep is lost, and losing an hour during the day is not unusual.

2nded

unless you have Sunday morning activities which require punctuality :/

The BestMonster clan is the exception since they're booked 24/7. You guys could probably get a deal extreme field testing Fitbits. :haha:

I like the idea that the clocks could spring forward on a dull work day. Wednesday afternoon would be great -get you over that hump for sure....
|
Oh what a can of worms that would be. I've worked a lot of nights when the clock was going one way or the other. People would bitch in the spring they got shorted an hour and ought to get a full shift's pay anyway. Then in the fall they'd be grumbling they damn well better get paid an extra hour. ;)

I miss tw's annual defense of the clock change. Now that science is on our side can't we just be done with it.
