Give Her Flowers

Hey Dudes, you all know if your sweet little buttercup is off in a snit, flowers will usually at least get you supper... even if it's peanut butter sandwiches.
Now there's no reason to be dipping into beer money to blow seven bucks on a fancy bouquet. You can make your own bouquet, and it won't be dead in three days like those high rent walmart jobs. The only downside is if she assaults you with them, it'll really hurt. Oh, and this ain't no tinfoil origami either, these are heavy duty, straight from bar stock.

Over to you, BigV! I see you doing this for TWIL and I don't think she'd even hit you with it (unless you asked her very sweetly)!

Yes, V, you could probably whip up a dozen by valentine's Day... 2025, :haha:

I started to say I had no doubt that V could whip up some of those flowers from leather...

...but, I think he done done it.

In step 15, how is that shaper block supposed to fit between the petal layers?

xoxoxoBruce 09-03-2015 06:27 PM

That's not a shaper block, that's a sample shape to eyeball while you hammer the petal. :lol2:

I like step 12 best. Get tired making this? Sit down and have a pizza.

Good move, you need lots of iron. :haha:

That does look interesting, but I do not speak fluent metalworking, though I have been able to make myself understood...eventually. If I was to undertake this, and it does look interesting, I wouldn't pick freaking bar stock. Something more malleable, ya feelin me? Copper. Aluminum. Gold. Something in a fall palette. :)
