Here's how the polo boys dealt with their grief :)
Quick Recap: A 17yo Water polo player from a (local) rival school -Saline- who plays with and coaches my kids outside of regular season was killed in a car accident this week. The three Ann Arbor teams were at a polo tournament in Grand Rapids this weekend, two ended up playing for third place. This is what they did

Good on them.

Cool. The headline says 12-12 and the byline says 12-12, but the text says 12-11. I hope it was 12-12.

it's debatable. They decided a tie was the official score ;)

Good for them. There's hope for the future.

Lovely.

It's nice to start the day with happy tears. Your kids and the others in the program seem to have a good grasp of the fundamentals of the game. Have fun, play hard, remember it's a game.

That's beautiful, monster. Thank you for sharing it.

Good kids. Does the heart good & give me hope for the future.

There were 600 at the funeral. I drove the boys there, but then they navigated the visitation themselves, and decided not to stay for the service. Open casket, I think they handled it well. very proud of them.
