I'm always skeptical about those polls being truthful, and especially about sexual experience. If they do one about teenage boys masturbating and come up with less than 100%, I'll be sure they are wrong.

The CDC weighs in.

The thing about being sexually active as a teen is, you gotta have a place and a time to do it. Helicopter parenting means there is almost no unsupervised time for teens anymore. I have no doubt they want to do it as much as they always did, but it's hard when you're signed up for three extracurriculars and your mom can track your cellphone with a GPS program.

An increase in birth control usage is always a Good Thing, though.

Or they are just diverging into a wider grey area to explore. Sexting, nude selfies, cybering, bi-directional-control sex toys can all come before first base.
