For instance, "got up on the wrong side of the bed".

Assuming my roll as a 5-year old...

So, why is it unlucky, on rising, to put your left foot first on the floor ?

A nun is walking down the hall when she passes a sister who remarks "Good morning, Sister. I see you got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." The nun wonders if maybe her hair isn't quite right, or something.

She passes another sister, who also remarked "Looks like you got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning."

The nun is really wondering by now why they're saying this.

The sister continues down the hall when she meets the Mother Superior. The Mother Superior stops the nun and says quietly "Sister, you've gotten up on the wrong side of the bed, I see."

The nun has had all she can take and blurts out "Why, why, is everyone saying I got up on the wrong side of the bed?!"

The Mother Superior leans in close and whispers "Sister, you're wearing the Bishop's shoes."
