lumberjim 06-04-2015 05:00 PM

And banana lady made it eventually to the nastiest messy house ever. She was convinced she'd miss her connection, gave us the wrong flight number anyway and then the stupid thing was two hours late. Given that we had hockey practice, polo banquet, middle school ice cream social and last-chance pottery all at the same time -oh and regular home from school for Thor who missed the bus but didn't bother to tell anyone for an hour- we really didn't have a spare car or driver at that point....

monster 06-04-2015 10:55 PM

tired because it's the second 3am wakeup day. pissed because I didn't magically get EVERYTHING done. covred in mayo from making potato salad in a hurry

and just generally miserable

old, body falling apart, college fees... 13 going on 8yo about to go to high school and get killed

oh yes, party for 10 in a week, can't find the floor, et it rains

And going forward, if anyone says "first world problems "they are deader than dull meat on a dull stick

sexobon 06-05-2015 12:30 AM

Thank goodness you can still choose to be happy; 'cause, you know ...

infinite monkey 06-05-2015 04:10 AM

Not first world problems. Real problems. Nothing you won't overcome though, I think. Because you are awesome. Hang in there! :)
