Happy New Year from Sundae
 

Sundae doesn't have Internet access at the moment but we've exchanged text messages and spoken to one another a couple of times in recent days, the latest being within the last few minutes.

She's asked me to pass on her best wishes to everyone and say Happy New Year!

If anyone has any messages for Sundae via the board or by PM, I'll be pleased to pass them on for you.

I can summarise and send a text or do a cut and paste and send it by post.

I'm sure that she would be very pleased to hear from you however indirectly.

I've been the world's most rubbishest friend these past few weeks - just pretty much 100% focused on work and not keeping in touch with anybody (even had to cancel Glasgow this year because it would have been the day before thesis submission and like a dickhead I am taking this to the fucking wire - again).

Don't for a moment think that this means you are not in my thoughts. I am beyond grateful that our other friends are more responsive and able to help right now (Carr and Limes particularly) when you need it most. I think of you every day, even if it doesn't always seem that way.

Don't beat yourself up darling. There's not much you could have done.
And your degree will last a lifetime; we might fall out tomorrow. (I always thought "The Devil Wears Prada" had a shit ending for that the reason.)
My only exception to that rule is money, because I'd rather pass that on while I'm still alive. The huge wads of it I have, I mean.

BTW have been given access to the computer room. Time is limited to 60 minutes each, connection is very slow and everything from the keyboards up is slow and/or erratic.

It does mean I'm back in a way though!
I can keep you updated at least.

Thanks to all who wished me Happy New Year, those who intended to and those who just thought it. As Brianna and I said to eachother without fail "This is the year it turns around and starts going right!" Which goes to show you never can tell, but it's almost always worth a try.
