Hi Honey

The National Honey Board has this page on their site.

You can search for honey by country, state, floral source, container size, type(liquid, comb, etc), and several other variables.

Different plants have pollen of different colors... bees don't care. :D

From bees to honey to mead...

I have met two families who operate family farms involved with these foods.
I'd like to introduce you to just one: The Kookoolan Farms and the "meadery"

Attachment 50111

Their website may give you a perspective on young Oregonians who followed a passion...

Looks like they've jumped in to farming with both feet. Lots of construction of improvements to move into the hippy farming ethos. Green, sustainable, organic, fresh locally grown, etc. They've also provided an outlet for local farms who don't want to deal with the public, or have surplus of only one or two things at certain times.

Mrs Kookoolan looks like one of those bubbly people I hate to run into before 10 AM, but the rest of the day are pleasantly effervescent. :haha:
But seriously, that's a first class operation.

Kookoolan World Meadery features over 150 commercial meads from all over the globe; the largest variety and selection of mead for sale in a single location anywhere in the world.

We invite you to visit our Tasting Room, open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 - 6, and anytime by appointment.
Hmm... 150 meads... 11 to 6 = 7 hrs... 21.4 meads/hour... 0.36 meads/minute... better take a designated driver. :driving:
