Heart Melting Moments

Eva is usually pretty good with bedtime. Normally I pick her up and walk from room to room with her saying night night to everyone, then we go to her room, she gives me a kiss, and I put her in her cot and say, Have a good sleep baby, then leave the room.

Tonight as I was leaving the room, I heard this little voice say, "I yuv you Mummy"

It was just so sweet and lovely. Everything good about having kids in those four little words (even if one of them doesn't come out quite right yet).

Share your heart melting moments with us? We need more love. :)

Reminds me of a scene I once seen...

The kid had just committed some unforgivable sin and had gotten a bit of a spanking.

'Mommy' got done spanking and set the now squalling tot down, and the tot looked right at mommy and said, through tears and sobs, " I wuuuuuv you, mommy."

Mommy, who was walking away from the little guy, stopped in her tracks, sighed, turned around knelt down and said "C'mere, ya little shit.", and hugged him up.
