Will this get me a ticket?
2 Attachment(s)
I found this nifty mock license plate on my trip to Istanbul and mounted it on my LR just under the regular license plate. I checked the DPS website which mostly states that both a front and rear plate are required and that no part of the plate may be covered up, a law passed a few years ago to stop people putting a lens or filter over the plate to keep traffic cameras from getting a good image of the plate.
My wife says I will probably get at a ticket or at least stopped and hassled by a cop but I plan to argue my case if I do. To me it isn't any different from people who have their regular plate and then one for their favorite college. |
I like it.
I wouldn't give you a ticket. |

Your required plate is displayed properly, you're legal.

A quibble: legal and won't get hassled or ticketed are not mutually exclusive.
@chrisinhouston your rig looks awesome! |
They didn't have one that said terrorist?
Istanbul, not Constantinople, now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople.... Why did Constantinople get the works? That's nobody's business but the Turks. |
"Don't follow me. You wont make it"

Turkish delight on a moonlit night.
