is watching me type this in the dark. pale gingie with green eyes. can leap over tall sofas in a single bound, eater of houseflies, spiders and the odd bits of bacon.

Kewl. My cat Chloe is laying on the floor like the Budda Kitty that she is.

Diz is sleeping on the newly washed sheets for the spare bed in this room.
I should shoo him off.
I should be nie and at least put the covers on the duvet and pillow (sofa bed, so no more is needed) and put them out of his reach.

But it's hot.
And I can't be arsed.

I went and looked up my boy Slick. He is lying in the backyard, in the shade of the pine tree like the King Of The African Veldt.

A nice, dry, 84 degrees here today, btw.:)

Even stalker-cat stayed in the shade at the bottom of the garden today.
Came out in the cool of the evening to give me his silent-movie meow though. No Jester, no food for you here.

Tomorrow it's supposed to be thunderstorms and regional flooding.
Won't flood here, we're immune. But it might make him go home for once.
Not that it will help our cats, as they won't want to go out in a downpour either...

Slick left this on the patio a few nights ago, half a baby rabbit. At eighteen (or so), I was impressed that he could still catch a baby rabbit.

He left us the best part.
