Ethical Dilemmas
Post them here.
I found a shedded snakeskin stuck to some books next to my bed. I like snakes well-enough and am willing to cohabitate, unfortunately 75% of my house-hold freaks out about snakes. Imma keep it quiet. |

Wait until bedtime, show it around, and say "Don't worry if you hear something moving around. It's more scared of you than you are of it. Anyway, there's only a 38% chance it's poisonous. Good night." I am a dream to live with. |
Good strategy. Unfortunately, I don't live in Austrailia so my percentage of poisonous snakes is negligible.
|
Take the middle road: have some professional snake wrangler come in and catch and remove it.
Even a non-poisonous snake will bite if cornered. |
Hey, so will I.

I make 700 dollars a month off of ssdi plus about 130 in food stamps..
my rent is 135 and my electric is about 100 internet is 50 the rest goes torwards ciggeretts and food.. "so how do I save money is the problem" personally my motto is this "I hate money every time I get it I try to get rid of it as soon as possible" is this a problem or a solution?? |
That's some cheap rent.
Do you live in a box under a bridge? Seriously, how is your rent so low? |
I'm guessing it's subsidized housing. There's a place in Austin called Foundation Communities that has a variety of low-income housing options, but one of their specialties is they take old hotels, and turn them into single-occupancy apartments for adult males. (We looked into one for my uncle awhile back.) Rent was in the $130-$150 range, and I think utilities were a flat fee on top of that. They were actually pretty nice, considering. Not ghetto at all.

I offered my Jewish friend some Ham for free.
|
It's Called "Hud Housing".. like section 8 right know I can only use it in florida but I am on the list for nation wide and when I get that I will be able to go any where in the country and get cheap rent....

I "found" some money.
$70 left in the slot at an ATM outside a convenience store. I took it, folded it up and went into the store. The whole time I was on alert for anyone coming in and asking about it. Even when I went back outside I hung around to see if anyone was coming over in a hurry. No. No-one. I should have handed it in at the counter, or even taken it to the police. But I didn't, I kept it. Turns out I'm not a great person. |
Nah. You're fine. You would have given it to anyone who claimed it, and if you had turned it in to the clerk or police, the odds of it making its way to the rightful owner would have been virtually nil.
