Pigs have binocular vision for about 50 degrees straight forward, and can certainly raise their heads high enough, especially when sitting.

tis true ... basically their necks are too stout to be able to tilt their heads far enough back to look up :)

If I stand close to the pen, they'll come right up to the fence and look up at me. I doubt they can see the sky directly overhead, even sitting, but they can see the sky.

I see what you did there.








Obviously if pigs had wings they could generate lift anywhere but a vacuum or on a treadmill.

Gosh I love pigs. Everything including the squeal.
Saw one butchered on TV. Complaints followed of course. I was fascinated. If I'm gonna eat it, I deserve to know how it died.

Rarely eat meat now, but not because of that.
